Our Physics Class

Our class looks more like a religious discourse by Shri Shri Dakshinamurtiji, than a physics lecture. The lecturer speaks endlessly with rising and falling tones while most of the audience are asleep. Neither does he mind. He is lost in his own "Histroy-and-derivations-in-physics" fantasies. Like the religious speaker he at times chants the religious version of "Toh bolo Shri RadheKrishna kii" - "Are you able to follow?" and some of the half asleep students reply their version of "Jayaaa" - "Yeeessss sirr". The lecturer would never mind what you are doing - solving maths, reading novels - unless you he gets disturbed by our activities like snoring in deep sleep or laughing in the class.

Another interesting similarity between our class and a religious discourse is that most boys sleep while ladies are still attentive. In the religious version, I guess ladies pay attention to most of the discourse to show great dedication to God and get good returns from him for her family's safety and prosperity. On the other hand, men think only prosperity can be gained by work at Office not by pleasing oneself to God. However, I fail to understand why girls in our class are awake while boys sleep
